The advertised price may not be the total price
A program can separate its membership or clinical fee from medication cost. Before comparing two offers, put every recurring and one-time charge into the same monthly-cost view.
Ask what medication is included
Some advertised prices refer to clinical membership only. Others may bundle certain services or products. Get the medication name or category, quantity and pricing terms in writing before enrolling.
Watch for variable costs
Lab work, shipping, dose changes, required follow-ups and cancellation terms can change the effective cost. Introductory offers may also expire after the first month.
Insurance changes the equation
If you have insurance, your out-of-pocket cost depends on your plan, indication, formulary and authorization requirements. A provider can help with the process, but cannot guarantee coverage.
