What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how DosageBuzz ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit dosagebuzz.com. It does not cover the privacy practices of the telehealth providers, pharmacies, or other third parties we link to — their own policies govern any information you give them directly.

Information we collect

We collect a few different kinds of information:

• Usage data — pages viewed, time on page, referring site, browser and device type, and approximate location derived from IP address.
• Affiliate click data — when you click a link to a telehealth provider, we and our affiliate partners record that click so the referral can be attributed and, where applicable, compensated.
• Cookies and similar technologies — small files stored in your browser that help us remember your cookie preference and measure site performance. See the Cookies section below.
• Information you provide directly — if you contact us by email, we retain that correspondence to respond to you.
• Newsletter signup — if you subscribe to our email updates, we collect the email address you provide, along with the page you signed up from and the timestamp.

We do not collect health information, medical history, or insurance details. If you complete an intake form or assessment on a provider's site after clicking through from DosageBuzz, that information goes directly to the provider, not to us.

Email newsletter

When you enter your email address to subscribe, we send a confirmation message to that address. We only add you to our mailing list once you click the confirmation link — this is called double opt-in, and it exists so we never subscribe an address without its owner's consent.

We use your email address only to send the comparisons and guides you signed up for and occasional updates about the site. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for their own marketing. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link; clicking it removes you immediately, and we keep no further record of the address beyond a log that it opted out (so we don't accidentally re-add it later). You can also unsubscribe by emailing us at info@dosagebuzz.com.

We retain confirmed subscriber records for as long as you remain subscribed, and unsubscribe records indefinitely for suppression purposes only.

Cookies

We use cookies for two purposes: to remember that you've responded to our cookie banner, and to track affiliate referrals so partner providers can credit DosageBuzz for sending you their way. You can decline non-essential cookies from the banner shown on your first visit, or clear cookies from your browser settings at any time. Declining affiliate tracking cookies may mean a provider doesn't know you came from DosageBuzz, but it won't affect your ability to use their service.

How we use information

• To understand which content and comparisons are useful to readers
• To attribute and receive affiliate compensation when you sign up with a provider we've linked to
• To respond to inquiries sent to us directly

How we share information

We share aggregated, non-identifying usage data with analytics providers. We share click and referral data with affiliate partners strictly for attribution purposes. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share your data with data brokers.

Your choices

You can decline non-essential cookies, use browser privacy settings or extensions to limit tracking, unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in every email, and contact us to ask what information we hold about you. Because we collect very little personally identifying information in the first place, most requests can be resolved simply by clearing your browser's cookies or unsubscribing.

Children's privacy

DosageBuzz is intended for adults evaluating prescription weight-loss and diabetes medications. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
